My rejects for WWP Borders project:

The border between old and new:  A crop of new houses springing up in what was a farm field, with the old farm house still standing nearby.

The border between gardens:  The border between the terrace garden and the Blomquist garden of native plants, at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens on Duke University campus.

The border between lanes:  The lines and curbs (usually) that keep vehicles from running into each other.  There's one other "borders" in the picture if you look close.

The border between TN and NC:   Along the Appalachian Trail in the GSMNP, at Rock Top.  I couldn't get there during the time window. This was taken last fall.

My "Borders" choice:

Duke Chapel :  I picked this just because I liked the photography, but with a little imagination it does fit the theme.  There is a border of yellow flowers around blue, the borders of sunlight and shadow, the border of winter and spring, and even the border between heaven and earth.
